9th Harrogate medal win
The Harrogate Autumn Flower Show was a nice end to the season, with a Silver Gilt medal for our display of autumn alpine flower and foliage. Interestingly, this was by far the best Autumn display we’ve done to date! Our containers featured a wonderful dark purple Sedum ‘Bertrum Anderson’, the fiery colours of Aruncas and the zingy lime green of Saxifraga ‘Cloth of Gold’. A large display of hardy silver foliaged New Zealand plants caught everyone’s attention. As ever a huge thank-you for such strong support from all our regular customers across Yorkshire.
Unfortunately the rain didn’t hold off for set-up or take-down but hey, you can’t have everything!

The nursery closes for the season on Sunday 26 September and reopens in March 2011. All the show dates for the coming year will shortly be here on the website.
