Does your garden need a colour boost to get it through into autumn? There are lots of beautiful alpines that have still to flower so pop up and choose some... a few are listed here and more detail on each can be found in the 'Plants' section of our website. Aster ericoides v. prostrata (pretty white flowers summer-autumn), Zauschneria 'Dublin' and Z. pumilio (stunning red-orange tubular flowers in august-september), Sedum 'Bertrum Anderson' (rich purply leaves and deep red-purple flowers Aug-Sept), Sedum 'Dragon's Blood' (good mahogony foliage and deep red-pink flowers), Cyananthus microphyllus (bright blue flowers into autumn), Erigeron 'Canary Bird' (flowers from April until October), Delospermas ('Beaufort West', 'Graff Reinet', ashtonii and lavisiae), Origanum amanum, Erodium kolbianum 'Natasha' and 'Stephanie', Persicaria vaccinifolia (pink flower spikes folllowed by very good autumn tints to the foliage). The main road up through the woods has now reopened after 8 months - yipee!!! Come up and spice up the last few weeks of summer. See us on Facebook now too!
