Slack Top Nurseries and Garden

Aside from plants, our other passion is wildlife and we’re lucky enough to have a great range around the nursery. To date we have spotted 71 bird species including Great Spotted Woodpecker, Peregrine, Crossbill, Goldcrest and Waxwing. Despite our exposed location we have also recorded 24 species of butterfly, 13 species of moth, Large Red and Common Blue Damselflies, frogs, toads, Palmate and Smooth newts.
