Our new updated SPRING AVAILABILITY list is shown below. All plants for sale are propagated and grown on our nursery at 900ft, and are fully hardy. We specialise in alpines, and only alpines, so we offer one of the widest ranges of unusual alpine plants in the UK – things that you definitely won't find at your local garden centre. Examples of many of our range can also be seen growing in the garden.
Remember that alpines grow best in a 2:1 mix of soil (John Innes 1 or 2) and grit or sharp sand. Avoid multi-purpose compost as it is not suitable for growing alpines.
The majority of plants listed will be available throughout the coming year, though we shall inevitably sell out of some, and other (marked below) will be ready later in the season.
