Nursery open from Friday 2 March 2018

Our little Alpine nursery reopens for the 2018 season on Friday 2 March (irrespective of what the 'Beast from the East' throws at us). We might not be able to have all the sales stock out for Friday as the nursery is frozen solid at present but there will still be plenty to choose from. The sales tunnels will be stocked with tempting little midget gems including a lovely range of early flowering kabschia saxifrages, which can also be seen growing on our two crevice garden beds when you visit the nursery. Many of our Hepaticas are coming into flower along with Corydalis solida 'Alba', and many of the tiny Primulas are full of buds, nearly ready to open. We've masses of tiny cushion plants for sale, perfect for planting in troughs or crevice gardens for spring colour so do come along and see what we've got. The early bird gets the worm as the saying goes.

We are open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday (10am-5pm) from now until the end of August. Even when we are at shows, the nursery is open as Michael's Dad kindly provides cover for us. Other times by prior appointment.
