EU GDPR rules (General Data Protection Rules)
The new EU GDPR rules (General Data Protection Rules) come into effect from 25 May 2018. Secure websites can now be identified by the prefix https:// (the ‘s’ stands for ‘secure’). We have updated our Privacy Statement (below) to reflect these new regulations.

We keep those details in our records/accounts for 12 months to comply with HMRC and other regulatory requirements.
We only pass on your email address, postal address and contact telephone number to our carrier who use this information to facilitate your parcel delivery.
All our card payments are processed through Paypal’s secure payments system.
Our order form (where you enter your order and contact details) are fully encrypted and SSL enabled – look for the secure padlock symbol or https:// at the start of the website address in your browser.
You have the right to request what data we hold on you and ask for it to be deleted.

We take every possible care in packing our plants so they arrive in good condition with you. After all we have invested a lot of time (sometimes years!) growing each one from seed or cutting. However it is sometimes impossible to avoid a little squashing or crumpling of foliage when parcelling up plants for postage. Most plants (if not all) will recover completely from this, given a little time outside.
In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your plants, please contact us immediately using email (within 7 days of receipt of order) and we will do our very best to resolve the situation. We aim to grow our plants to an extremely high standard, and no responsibility can be accepted for failure after planting as drought, overwatering, pests and diseases can all take their toll. You have statutory protection under the Consumer Contract Regulations, but plants, being perishable, are excluded from parts of this legislation. We may possibly accept returns and issue a refund, at our discretion, subject to the plants being returned in good condition. Return postage is the responsibility of the customer, and we recommend that you use a recorded service.
